Terms of use.
Last updated 24 October 2026
Focer is operated by Novas Agency Limited, a private limited company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI744547) (“we”, “us”). Registered office: 89 Killyleagh Street, Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, BT30 9DQ. We are the data controller for the personal information described on these pages. Contact help@focer.app about anything on them. By creating or using a Focer account you agree to these terms. Please also read the Privacy policy. The app licence is also governed by Apple's standard licence agreement. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law.
Who can use Focer
You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use Focer and to buy FOCER+.
Your account and content
Use an account you control and keep your sign-in methods secure. Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't access other people's records, get around security, share unlawful or harmful material, or disrupt the service.
You own your content. You allow us and the providers needed to run Focer to store, process and send it for the features you use, security, backup and support. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.
Adding a sign-in method requires proving you control it and your existing account. A matching email address does not merge accounts.
Planning, offline use and reliability
You can keep planning and timing offline; changes sync when you reconnect. If two devices change the same thing, Focer may ask you to choose. Focer is a productivity tool: reminders, timers and app blocking depend on permissions, iOS and connectivity, so don't rely on them for emergency or safety-critical alerts.
FOCER+ and credits
Planning, routines, goals, progress, sync and focus features are free. FOCER+ and credits are explained in Subscriptions and credits. Apple shows the price and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.
AI and connected apps
The assistant is optional and only processes your content after you allow it — see AI and the assistant. AI output can be wrong, so review it before relying on it. Connections to other apps need your approval and can be revoked — see Connected apps.
Things you must not do
Don't use Focer for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent; copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app or service except where the law allows; probe, overload or get around our security, limits or credits; use bots or scripts to access the service other than through connections we provide; or use the assistant to create content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
Our app and brand
Focer, its software, design, text and logos belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Focer under these terms. Feedback you send us can be used to improve Focer without any obligation to you.
Other services
Focer relies on and links to services run by others, including Apple, Google, Notion and AI providers. Their own terms apply to how you use them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or changes.
Not professional advice
Focer helps you plan and focus. Nothing in the app, including assistant answers, is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Changes, suspension and closure
We may change Focer to improve it, fix faults, protect accounts or meet legal requirements, and will give reasonable notice of a material change unless an urgent security or legal reason prevents it. We may restrict or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or to address a security risk, and where practical will explain why and how to challenge it.
You can stop using Focer, export your data or delete your account at any time — see Your data. If we ever close Focer, we will give at least 30 days’ notice where we can and a way to export your data.
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in advance; if you don't agree, you can stop using Focer and delete your account.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses (Focer is for personal use), or for problems caused by your device, iOS settings, connectivity or services run by others.
Keep your own copies of anything important. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory rights under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are not affected.
Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, contact help@focer.app and we will try to put it right quickly. Purchase and refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland, or, if you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, in the courts where you live. Mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in still apply.
General
These terms, together with the pages they link to, are the whole agreement between you and us about Focer. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer this agreement to someone who takes over Focer, and we will tell you if that happens; this won't reduce your rights. Nobody else has rights under these terms, except that Apple may enforce Apple's standard licence agreement.
